[resolved] Blank lines after the end of the script

Hi everyone,

I've noticed that if I create a new php or html blank page, there is always a line after the end of HTML tags or php end tag.

There is a way to avoid this?

I've noticed that PolyStyle leaves the same blank line. Anyone has a solution for this, too?

Thanks,
bye,
ghale.

Well, I'm using that build and I've not seen nothing in settings or other that avoid this.

Any idea?

4632 does not add them as 4628 and all builds before did.

All right, all right. Maybe I'm drunk.

So: double click on NuSphere PhpED on my desktop.
From menu File -> New -> PHP5 file

I see this:

From menu File -> New -> HTML file

I see this:

with version:

as you can see, there is a blank space after the end of the script in the first example, and after the HTML tag in the second.

Please check corresponding files in phped\Templates subdirectory. I believe they already contain an extra space.

Yes, the templates contain a space after the end of script/tag. I've removed the space and now the File->New works well!

I've tried with PolyStyle and it generate the extra space. There is a template to modify for PolyStyle too?

BTW: Thanks, dmitri!

Well, the PolyStyle integration is a very good item (for me).

If you can try to catch and fix the error, well, it will be a good thing...

BTW: the next build of PhpED will contain the good templates?
