Hi,
< Ctrl+right arrow > moves to the next word, but it doesn't stop at the quotes ( ' and " ), and this is very anoying.
Even more as < Ctrl + left arrow> works correctly.
(The same goes for the < Ctrl + Shift + left/right arrow> )

Also: <Ctlr + Del> doesn't delete to the next word (or better to the next quote).
So the two shortcuts < Ctrl + Del > and < Ctrl + Backspace > would behave as I'm used to (and as they work generally)
(In the settings <Ctlr + Del> is affected to EDIT->DELETE, so this default setting would change)

Thanks in advance for considering this.

I'm not sure what you mean by this.
Could you please list at least 10 editors supporting those shortcuts?
I can list you 20 that do not.

OK, "as they work generally" was perhaps exaggerated. Smile

For the word boundaries I can list: UltraEdit, Word, Visual Studio and … Zend Studio
And for < Ctrl + Del >, only the first 3.

But, I'm used to work like this...
Of course there are others that are probably used to other settings.

So why not making it configurable?
What about a setting containing a list of characters used as word boundaries? So everybody could adjust it own favorite behavior.

It's all customizable in PhpED. By default shortcut assigned for "Delete Right to Cursor" is Ctrl-T like in any other Borland tools.
Feel free to change it to Ctrl-Del if you wish.

Not only quotes. VS for example stops at any delimiters other than spaces and I think we can implement it easily Smile

Extract from a post of mine from September 8, 2004:

3. Customizeable word delimitor characters for jumping through words with Ctrl + <- and Ctrl + ->
Personally I would like to be able to stop on operators and so on as well

Anyway, just felt like posting this, ignore me Wink
