I've just started uses phpEd and so far it looks very promising however there are a few things that would be nice to be able to do.

1. Lock the toolbars
It's far too easy to move them and a pain in the *** to reset. Reminds me of the very old MS Office app versions. Actually i would say the toolbars (not the icons) look amateurish.

2. Notepad++ by default shows a line going down the page wherever there is a tab so you can neatly lineup all your code\text. Does phpEd have this feature?

3. Again, In Notepad++ whenever you click in a tag it highlights the end tag, a quick way of sussing out code and html. I now I can edit the tags to always show tags in a certain way, but not sure if ti can be done for the tag under the mouse.

See screenshots for points 2 and 3!

Isn't it easier to just run PolyStyle?

Easier than having visual feedback in real time? I don't think so!

I agree. All three of those are great suggestions.

I'm anal retentive about my formatting, and I would never run PolyStyle because of that reason.

I agree with 2 and 3. (1 would be cool, but i'm not worried about it)

Simshaun,

I'm not sure we are talking about the same version of PolyStyle. I purchased the program ($30), which permits you to control how it formats. Way more precise than the lite version.
