As I had been informed recently, the boards are just a place to talk with other users. If you have a bug report and/or serious feature request, you should always contact support and get a ticket for the issue. It has little effect posting it here and unless support will get direct reports/requests from users, I'm afraid nothing will change at all.

I really don't think that we will ever see PhpED support JavaScript as we would hope. I believe the developers sincerely wish to support it. However, they simply can't.

It took over a year to get PhpExpress/NuCoder to support PHP 5.3 (and it is still unusably buggy on IIS7). I bet these are limitation imposed by PhpED's software life cycle idiosyncrasies. Just look at the various editions' evolution and it should be obvious that we can expect refinement and adaptations of existing features, but nothing really new.
