OK...

I have managed to a quire a copy of the binary for DBG from somewhere, but I have absolutely no way of testing it because there doesnt seem to be any gui out there for OS X!

I have tried compiling DDD, but It wont play ball...what other options do I have? Please tell me there is someway I can use it, as it is the most highly rated debugger out there!

thanks in advance.

You can try prepared patched sources:
ddd-3.3.1-117+dbg.src.rpm
or ddd-3.3.1.dbg.tar.gz
See
https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=33454

To build DBG console for further running under DDD you have to compile and install dbgbase library and then dbg project.
See dbg-2.10rc2.linux.tar.gz sources at the same link.

Could you explain exactly what files you mean here, if there is no other client in existence. I had a look and I cant follow your instructions...

Cheers.
