10 year user, I skipped v16, anything worthwhile in v17?

I've been using PhpED for 10 years. I renew my license whenever NuSphere released new features or functionality that I felt warranty the cost.

I skipped v16 because there was really nothing new in it.

The v17 "what's new" page is extremely vague. Anyone know of any reasons to update from v15?

The major feature of v17 is PHP7.0 support.

Unfortunately, there are no Emmet support and no code style settings. The extended code templates with variables, multi cursor and a lot other important features are also missing. I've decided to opt out from further subscription renewal and switched to another IDE for this reason.

Now I'm using PhpED as an editor for the files on remote servers.

Yikes. That's a painful response to read.

I came here looking to have a discussion with the developers (read: you) about why I should upgrade. I'm not sold yet because the website doesn't really provide any detail on what v17 offers.

No details? Hmm, they are in the same place as they've always been http://www.nusphere.com/products/phped_new_features.htm

Nevermind, I won't be upgrading, again. I start looking elsewhere for IDE upgrade.
